2. It features an integral sealing design—simply tightening a single bolt completes the entire clamp’s tightening and sealing process, saving installation time and reducing installation costs.
3. Compared to traditional flange connection and installation, the V-type clamp requires less installation space, making it suitable for installation environments with limited space.
4. Compared to traditional flange connections, the V-shaped clamp is lighter in weight, significantly reducing the overall weight of the system.
The V-shaped clamp is suitable for connecting two flat surfaces with angled contact surfaces. By tightening the fastening screws on the slot-type clamp, the tensile force exerted by the screws generates a downward force perpendicular to the diameter of the clamp (as shown in the right diagram). This force, F1, is then resolved into two horizontal forces acting along the clamp slots and the two contacting surfaces being joined, as indicated by F2 in the diagram. Through the sealing structure of the clamp slots, the two flanges being connected are pressed tightly together, thereby achieving a secure seal between the two components.

Selection Reference:
1. Determine the operating or test pressure based on the application.
2. Determine the maximum operating temperature that the clamp can withstand (the maximum temperature designed in this document is 400℃).
3. The inner diameter of the clamp = the outer diameter of the flange + 3 mm
4. The clamp thicknesses listed in the table below (approximate values under ideal conditions) will be affected by the following factors in practical applications.
